1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Hootempire Community Section, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the community features. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time; continued use of the community constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Description of Services
Hootempire provides a community platform where registered users can participate in competitions, earn on-site currency, and customize their profiles (e.g., display achievements, unlocked products). The community section is separate from our digital games store, which operates on real-money transactions. Participation in community activities is voluntary and governed by these Terms.
3. User Accounts and Privacy Settings
Registration: To participate in the community, you must create an account and provide accurate information.
Default Privacy: All profile details—including username, achievements, and records of unlocked products—are private by default. You must actively opt in to make any information publicly visible.
Responsibility: You are solely responsible for managing your profile’s privacy settings and ensuring that you only share information you are comfortable making public.

6. Competitions and On-Site Currency
Participation: Competitions are open to registered users in accordance with the published rules for each event.
Earning Currency: On-site currency is awarded for participation and achievements within the community. This currency is non-transferable and holds no cash value.
Usage: On-site currency may be used to unlock digital products or other community features, as specified by Hootempire.
Modifications: We reserve the right to modify or cancel competitions and currency rewards at any time, with notice where practicable.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Service “As Is”: The community section is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
Limitation: Hootempire is not liable for any direct, indirect, or incidental damages arising from your use of the community platform, including but not limited to losses related to user-generated content or competition outcomes.
Content Accuracy: We do not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of any content posted by community members.
8. Termination and Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the community section at our sole discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in behavior that jeopardizes the integrity or security of the community.
